SoilRegen recycles industrial by-products to improve soil structure, biology and fertility for better crops and pasture

What we do

  • Soil health is the foundation of successful farming and that balanced, nutrient-rich soils enable better yields and greater financial returns for farmers. SoilRegen achieves this by repurposing industrial by-products into valuable inputs for agriculture.

  • All the recycled products that we use have resource recovery orders and exemptions from the Environment Protection Authority (EPA) and we diligently ensure our processes meet all exemption guidelines

  • Agricultural soil is also great for sequestering carbon. Healthy soils are home to plants and microbes that 'pump' carbon out of the atmosphere and into the soil. Scientifically modified soils can hold soil for long periods of time. SoilRegen understands that by repairing and regenerating soils, we are supporting sustainable and profitable agriculture and helping to fight climate change.

Why we treat soil

Our treatments are designed to improve at least four critical indicators of soil health
Soil fertility
Increasing the soil's ability to provide all 17 essential nutrients to plants and facilitate their growth through balanced availability of macro and micro-nutrients with optimum soil pH.
Water holding capacity
Improving the soil's ability to retain water is crucial for plant growth, drought resilience, and efficient water use.
Aggregate stablity
This indicates how well soil particles clump together, which improves aeration, water infiltration, root penetration and strength, resistance to erosion and trafficability.
Microbiome diversity
A diverse soil microbiome, composed of various bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms, enhances nutrient cycling, disease resistance, and overall soil function.
The availability of the most abundant nutrient in the soil is only as good as the availability of the least abundant nutrient in the soil
Justus von Liebig
There is no one-product solution that produces healthy soil. We approach each project individually, starting with a detailed analysis of the soil’s requirements and deficiencies, to develop effective long-term soil treatments.

Circular economy & sustainability
We are committed to creating a circular economy where industrial by-products are recycled into valuable agricultural products. Repurposing these materials reduces environmental impacts and also provides farmers with cost-effective solutions for soil enhancements. Our approach paves the way for a sustainable future for farmers and industries alike.

Carbon credits
Soil Organic Carbon is the primary driver of plant-available micro and macro nutrients. Our treatments help sequester carbon in the soil, contributing to the fight against climate change while fostering vibrant and productive farmland. The Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs) system provides a fantastic opportunity to profit from improving soil nutrition and soil carbon.
